# Pool > A flooded plaster court in summer sun, seen at eye level. A real-time WebGPU experiment by Luis Bizarro. The water is a heightfield simulation on the GPU, a damped wave equation that the wind keeps rippling, with caustics traced through it onto the mosaic floor. Around it stands a roofless court: plaster walls, an arcade open to the sea, floating marble stairs, an overhanging tree, bougainvillea and clipped boxwood whose leaves cast dappled light on the water. Pool toys float and bob on the simulated surface; drag a finger through the water to leave a wake and push them, click to drop a pebble or dunk a toy. Three modes: Noon, Terrazzo (rose plaster and rosa marble) and Night (underwater lights). - Live: https://pool.bizar.ro/ (needs WebGPU: a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari) - Built with: Raw WebGPU and WGSL, TypeScript and Vite - Author: Luis Bizarro, creative technologist and real-time 3D developer for the web ## Author Luis Bizarro builds real-time 3D for the web with WebGL and WebGPU: shaders, interactive scenes and award-winning creative websites.
